Construction Inspector Internship

Job Requirements:

ALA has openings for all experience levels of construction inspection for MdTA’s I-95 Section 100 project and Maryland SHA District #3 (Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties) Project. We are also seeking construction inspectors for VDOT highway projects in Northern Virginia and DDOT highway projects.

Duties and responsibilities of the Construction Inspector will be:
• Effectively communicate (written & oral) and understand the scope of work.
• Complete daily inspection reports.
• Inspection of construction work and assure general compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Follow prescribed quality assurance/quality control procedures.
• Read and understand contract documents including plans and specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requires high school diploma or equivalent (BS a plus), four years of construction inspection experience and all jurisdictional certificates and state requirements as necessary.
