Route 460 Business, Ramp I over Route 460 Bypass

This ALA-designed project included a 105-m long two-span continuous bridge on a partly straight and partly curved horizontal alignment. The bridge has an acute skew of 63 degrees. The abutments are 7.5-m high with extensive wingwalls at each end. The DESCUS computer program was used for bridge design in order to determine forces in cross-frames due to the heavy skew and curvature.
