South Capitol St. Near-Term Improvements

This DDOT project involved reconstruction of South Capitol Street, Potomac Avenue, First Street (from Potomac Ave to Eye Street), and Eye Street in conjunction with the new Nationals Baseball Park Construction. ALA was responsible for storm sewer and sanitary sewer design, and utility designation for this fast-track project. Due to limited right of way and time constraints, oversized inlets were used as SWM facilities on this project to intercept trash and other pollutants from the stormwater runoff that were approved by WASA.
